Meeting in Thessaloniki

During the meeting in Thessaloniki students and teachers had the chance to visit the old town of Thessaloniki and some of its byzantine churches (St. Demetrius, Pr. Helias), but also places that are related to our topic, such as the Eptapyrgion prisons and the White Tower. During the daily trip in Vergina and Mount Olympus they also visited the archeaological place of Vergina and its Museum and the Monastery of St. Dionysius. The last day of the week they visited the navy ship of Velos, which is nowdays a Resistance Museum, as well as the Museum of Cinematography, where they attended a short course.
